Partner with Adopt-a-Drain to protect water and reduce flooding

A national, award-winning stormwater program

Engage residents to adopt storm drains to keep neighborhoods clean and protect waterways. Aligned with best practices in social science to inspire stewardship and behavior change, our program meets MS4 public education and outreach requirements to prevent run-off pollution and reduce localized flooding.

Cost-effective and tailored to fit budgets for communities of any size

Adopt-a-Drain makes it easy for communities to engage residents in watershed protection. We partner with cities, counties, watershed districts and other organizations of all sizes. Fees are based on service area population, making the program affordable and scalable for small or large communities. We take care of implementation, hosting, maintenance and reporting so you don’t have to. Our partners gain access to ready-to-implement outreach tools, exportable tracking data, and an annual report that does your MS4 reporting work for you.
