A national clean-water program

Adopt-a-Drain partners with communities to protect water

Engage residents to adopt storm drains to keep neighborhoods clean and protect waterways. Aligned with best practices in social science, our MS4-compliant program partners with cities, counties, watershed districts and other organizations to inspire stewardship and behavior change to prevent run-off pollution and reduce localized flooding.

Cost-effective and tailored to fit budgets for communities of any size

Adopt-a-Drain makes it easy for communities to engage residents in watershed protection. Fees are based on service area population, making the program affordable and scalable for small or large communities. Our partners gain access to ready-to-implement outreach tools, exportable tracking data, and an annual report that does your MS4 reporting work for you.
